Our nurseries are located in a vast green area that extends on the banks of the Arno River. The Terranuova Bracciolini premises are located on the right bank, along the highway ‘Autostrada del Sole’; the San Giovanni Valdarno premises are located on the left bank, along the State Road that connects Arezzo to Florence. The latter, in addition to open field cultivations, features a wide range of potted plants in the ‘Garden’, our retail store.

OUR PLANTS

CYPRESSES

Trenti specializes in growing the cypress Cupressus sempervirens ‘Pyramidalis’, a species that allows the company to offer on the market a high quality product that is grafted, potted and differentiated by clone.

OLIVE TREES

Trenti also specializes in typical Tuscan olive tree (Olea European) varieties, cultivated in pots and ready to be transplanted. The ‘Frantoio’ variety has a high and constant fruiting with a late ripening. The ‘Moraiolo’ variety has an average fruiting with an early ripening and high adaptability (despite being slow to heal from pruning). The ‘Leccino’ variety has a high and constant yield with an early and uniform ripening. This variety is particularly resistant to adverse climates and to diseases such as mange.

FRUIT PLANTS

Fruit plants can offer great satisfaction. You don’t need a large space to enjoy the pleasure of picking and eating fruit grown at home. These plants give us the opportunity to rediscover the precious rhythms of nature, and check firsthand that the products are healthy, natural and tasty. With their production of flowers and fruits, they are also suitable for creating an ornamental effect.

Roses

Roses are widely used in gardens to give color or create edging. In their tree, sarmentose or bush forms, they are used for covering pergolas, trellises or fences. The dwarf species with bright hues and with prolonged blooms are, on the contrary, ideal for growing in pots on terraces or in rocky gardens.

Climbing plants

The characteristic of climbing plants is to wind around a support, to grow on a vertical wall and to fall back, or to grow along a horizontal surface becoming a creeping plant. They are perfect for creating colorful walls.

HERBACEOUS PERENNIALS

Herbaceous perennials are small plants of different species, colour and scent. They are used to brighten the garden during all seasons, and to create borders of great ornamental effect. They can also be used as ground cover.

GARDEN TREES

Garden trees, evergreen or deciduous, are the longest lasting and most striking elements in a garden. Isolated or in groups, trees play a fundamental role in all landscapes in terms of shape, size and colour. Our nurseries grow a large assortment of garden trees, both in soil and in pots, in order to be able to be planted throughout the year.

GARDEN SHRUBS

Garden shrubs are the ornamental base of any green space. Evergreen or deciduous, they can have different shapes and they are suitable to create borders and hedges, or to be planted singularly or in a group.

Conifers

Conifers are a large family of trees and shrubs that enrich the garden, used to create groves or framing driveways. Conifers have almost all the characteristic of evergreen plants and a trunk with many branches, needle-like leaves and cones. Examples are pine, fir or yew.
