The headquarters inTerranuova Bracciolini is situated on the right bank of the river, along the A1 motorway, and the nursery at San Giovanni Valdarno is located on the left bank of the river, along the main road which links Arezzo and Florence. This one, founded in 2006, include, in addition to the production of plants which are cultivated in open fields, a vast selection of potted plants which are sold in our Garden Shop.
Our specialization, Cypress and Olive trees .....
Our company is specialized in the production of cypress, Cupressus sempervirens piramidalis, that has always allowed us to offer a product of choice.
The olive tree (Olea Europea) is another product in which our company is specialized. We grow potted plants in typical Tuscan varieties.
Frantoio, the oil extracted from this variety is very fine, fruity and aromatic.
Moraiolo, the oil made from it, is popular for its high content of antioxidants.
Leccino, this variety is especially resistant to harsh weather and some diseases. The fruits are used for the extraction of olive oil and as "black" for the table.
Fruit-bearing plants can provide great satisfaction. You do not need a lot of space to be able to enjoy picking and eating the fruit you have cultivated. Fruit-bearing plants provide us with a special opportunity to rediscover the rhythms of nature, ensuring that the cultivation process respects the ecosystem and that the fruit is healthy, wholesome and tasty.
Fruit-bearing plants with their flowers and fruits are ideal for creating a decorative effect. There are many varieties available at the Trenti nursery which allow you to harvest their fruit from late spring to winter, and in some cases, such as citrus trees, all year round.
Ornamental shrubs form the basis of any garden. Various shapes in deciduous or evergreen varieties are suitable for creating borders, hedges or to be planted individually or in groups. At our nursery you can find plenty of choice.
Trees are the most durable and striking element in any garden. Individual or in groups, trees play an important role in every landscape in terms of shape, size and colour. Our nurseries produce a huge number of varieties in different shaped and sizes, evergreen and deciduous, grown both in the ground and in pots, to enable them to be planted at any time of the year.
The Queen of Flowers, the rose, is the flower par excellence. It is an ornamental plant used in gardens to add colour or create borders. The tree varieties, the ramblers or shrub variety are used to cover pergolas, trellises or fences. The dwarf varieties have brightly coloured flowers which bloom for many weeks, and are ideal for growing in pots on terraces or rock gardens.
The main characteristic of climbing plants is that they wrap themselves around a support to grow up a vertical wall, and then fall again, as well as growing across a horizontal surface to become a creeper.
Conifers make up a large family of trees and shrubs and they are very popular for all kinds of gardens, creating a small area of woodland or planting along a driveway. Almost all conifers are evergreen, with needle-shaped leaves and pine cones. In our nursery we grow different varieties such as firs, pines and taxus.
Herbaceous perennials are the richest group of plants in terms of species, colours and scents. They tend to be small plants which are used to add colour to the garden throughout the year, for example in ornamental borders. They can also be used as ground cover, to add colour to lawned areas, in pots and on balconies.
